Lifestyle PR Sydney

Wanderlust Writes: How to Choose the Right PR Agency in Sydney (Luxury, Travel & Hospitality)

Choosing the right PR agency in Sydney can define how your brand is positioned, perceived, and ultimately, how it performs commercially. In industries like luxury travel, hospitality, and lifestyle, not all PR agencies are created equal.

In todayโ€™s landscapeโ€”where AI-driven search pulls from trusted editorial sourcesโ€”earned media and PR are critical to visibility and credibility.

What should you look for in a PR agency?

When selecting a luxury travel PR agency or hospitality PR agency, consider:

  • Proven experience in your sector

  • Strong, established media relationships

  • A strategic (not reactive) approach

  • Clear understanding of brand positioning

  • A track record of measurable results

A strong travel PR agency should act as a strategic partnerโ€”guiding positioning, not just executing tasks.

Why sector expertise matters

A luxury travel PR agency in Sydney understands:

  • Global media landscape

  • High-net-worth audiences

  • The importance of brand perception

From hotel launches to brand repositioning, expertise ensures your story lands in the right placesโ€”not just more places.

The role of earned media

Unlike advertising, PR focuses on earned mediaโ€”credible, third-party validation that builds trust and authority.

This is increasingly important as:

  • Google and AI search prioritise trusted sources

  • Consumers rely on editorial credibility

  • Brand discovery is driven by media presence

Final thought

If youโ€™re looking for a luxury travel PR agency Sydney, the right partner should deliver more than coverageโ€”they should deliver strategy, positioning, and measurable impact.

The Peninsula Hotels Launch 2026 Art in Resonance Programme

Dr. William Limโ€™s Walking On A Bright Future

As a global leader in luxury hospitality, The Peninsula Hotels unveiled its 2026 Art in Resonance programme during Hong Kong Arts Month in March, transforming its flagship property into an immersive celebration of contemporary art, craftsmanship and culture. The initiative reflects the brandโ€™s enduring commitment to creative collaboration and positions The Peninsula at the forefront of culturally driven luxury travel experiences.

The latest edition featured newly commissioned works by Angel Hui, Albert Yonathan Setyawan and Dr. William Lim, each bringing a distinct artistic perspective to the hotelโ€™s iconic spaces. From Huiโ€™s luminous goldfish installation across the faรงade to Setyawanโ€™s intricate ceramic installation in The Lobby, the programme invited guests into a layered, sensory experience that blurred the lines between art, design and hospitality.

Angel Huiโ€™s Swimming in Light brought a sense of movement and playfulness to The Peninsula Hong Kongโ€™s faรงade, with shimmering embroidered goldfish appearing to drift across the buildingโ€™s exterior and iconic awnings. Meanwhile, Albert Yonathan Setyawanโ€™s Metamorphic Modulation transformed The Lobby into a contemplative, sculptural environment. Comprising more than 700 hand-crafted ceramic pieces, the installation explored repetition, form and perception, inviting guests to experience the work from multiple vantage points as light and shadow shifted throughout the space. Together, these works highlighted the diversity of artistic expression at the heart of Art in Resonance, reinforcing The Peninsula Hotelsโ€™ commitment to supporting contemporary artists on a global stage.

A standout moment came through Dr. William Limโ€™s Walking On A Bright Future, which saw The Verandah Cafรฉ completely reimagined as a surreal, immersive environment. Combining large-scale textiles, pattern and narrative, the installation offered a transportive guest experienceโ€”underscoring The Peninsula Hotelsโ€™ ability to seamlessly integrate storytelling into its luxury offering.

Beyond the visual installations, the programme extended into curated culinary experiences, including art-inspired afternoon teas, pastries and cocktails. These thoughtful extensions reinforced the brandโ€™s commitment to multi-sensory luxury, where every touchpointโ€”from design to diningโ€”reflects a cohesive creative vision.
